The morning session will be dedicated to Science, with a focus on highlighting the outstanding research conducted at NOVA and its societal impact. The programme places particular emphasis on interdisciplinarity and the impact of research produced at the University. It includes a segment dedicated to the researchers at NOVA who have excelled in the past year, both in terms of funding acquisition and the impact of their research, as well as the launch of a new interdisciplinary research community. The morning session will also feature the presentation of the winners of the Research Impact Narratives Challenge, which took place this year, with the appropriate awards.
The afternoon session will revolve around the theme of Innovation, featuring a notable success story in the transfer of scientific knowledge to society. A roundtable discussion with various representatives from NOVA’s innovation ecosystem and partners will follow. Concurrently, in the atrium, an Innovation Fair will be held, showcasing proprietary technologies, specialized services, CoLabs, Spin-offs, and other businesses within the University’s ecosystem.
